Top Tools Apps Performance in Ireland, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the tools apps market in Ireland showed varied performance across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $16.4K in late December. Weekly downloads experienced a surge, reaching around 4.7K in the week before Christmas, while weekly active users grew steadily from 31.8K to over 43K by the end of the year.

AVG AntiVirus & Security maintained a consistent performance in weekly revenue, with a peak of about $2.6K in the final week. Downloads fluctuated, with a noticeable increase to 1.2K in the last week of December. Active users also rose, closing the quarter at 27.1K.

Surfshark: Secure VPN service reported stable weekly revenues, with the highest at $5.2K in early December. Downloads saw a significant jump in late November, reaching 1.6K, while active users increased to 14K by the end of the quarter.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN experienced a steady rise in revenue, peaking at nearly $5.9K in the last week of December. Download numbers remained relatively stable with a peak of 1.1K, and active users saw an increase, ending the quarter at approximately 14.7K.

Aiwit from NumLake Tech Limited had a slight decline in revenue over the quarter, with the highest weekly revenue at $2.9K in late October. Downloads decreased steadily, while active users peaked at 4.5K in early December.
